Competencies for Students at D-BAUG

The educational profile of a D-BAUG student includes competencies in intellectual and scientific theory (subject-​specific competencies), and a broad repertoire of methodological, social and personal competencies to responsibly, critically and, above all, effectively address the most pressing issues of the three Grand Challenges (urbanisation, future-oriented infrastructure, changing environment).

Interdisciplinary competencies at D-BAUG

A catalog of interdisciplinary competencies (Kompetenzkatalog; in German only) was already created in 2017 as part of the study program initiative in geospatial engineering 2017-2020. The catalog contains nine competencies that were considered relevant for the bachelor's degree program in geospatial engineering.
