Student association

Students on Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Environmental Engineering, Geospatial Engineering, Geomatics as well as Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems are represented by the GESO student association in dealings with the department and the VSETH.

The GESO offers various services during your studies, such as collections of papers or information about lectures, and organises social events such as excursions, talks and parties.

It is also possible to participate in student politics within the scope of the GESO. Students at D-BAUG have a regular say in the teaching commission, which is made up of an equal number of lecturers, assistants and students, and in the departmental conference. The teaching commission deals with tasks such as the preparation of revisions to the programme regulations, the approval of examination arrangements, proposals and suggestions for the improvement of the study programme and much more.
