First-year project work

The first-year project work is done in the 2nd semester and is compulsory. An applied problem from the areas of geospatial planning, geomatics and infrastructure is tackled as a team.

The project work serves the following objectives:

• Introduction to academic work and good academic practice
• Promotion of project and teamwork
• Acquisition of design skills
• Effective presentation and communication of problems, own ideas, designs and outcomes

The topics will be announced in the course of the autumn semester and published on the German webpage.

Four credits are given for the successful completion of the project work.
