A doctor for wind turbines
From ERC research grant to proof of concept to implementation: Professor Eleni Chatzi and team have developed a set of data-driven tools for the assessment of the health of wind turbines in operation. Their intelligent, low-priced monitoring system is now brought into practice with the help of two industry collaborators, the cloud-software company Adranis and the infrastructure provider Osmos. The aim is to bring their wind turbine doctor to hundreds of fleets across the world.
