Sue Fischer

Born to Swiss parents in the U.S., I grew up hearing Swiss-German and loving our yearly vacations in this beautiful country. I decided to move to Switzerland in my early 20’s for travel and work experience, never thinking I would stay. After more than 35 years here, I can honestly say “I love living in Switzerland”.

A good friend of mine, who has worked at ETH for more than 20 years, has been telling me for several years to apply for a position here. So, when I was looking at changing jobs, I naturally/finally applied. I am enjoying my work here, meeting interesting people from all over the world as well as making wonderful new friends.
