«Ja, aber nicht so!» – warum Verdichtung oft an der Akzeptanz scheitert
Verdichtung ist heute ein Grundsatz der Stadtentwicklung. Trotzdem stösst sie immer wieder auf lokalen Widerstand. Ein Forschungsteam um David Kaufmann, D-BAUG Professor für Raumentwicklung und Stadtpolitik, hat nun in sechs Weltstädten und im Kanton Zürich systematisch untersucht, wie sich die Akzeptanz von Verdichtung in der Bevölkerung erklären lässt. Eine Schlüsselrolle spielt der preisgünstige Wohnungsraum.
