Special provisions apply to the following applicants:

Admission of applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Engineering from ETH Zurich is unconditional. Students already enrolled at ETH Zurich in this programme can enrol directly in the Master's programme in Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems via myStudies.

Enrolment is possible as soon as only a maximum of 60 credits towards the Bachelor’s degree are pending. Detailed information can be found in the Downloadappendix to the study regulations of the Master's in Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems (PDF, 242 KB).

Transfer of credit points from the Bachelor's to the Master's

Credits earned during the Bachelor's programme that you do not use for the Bachelor's degree can be transferred to the Master's degree before submitting the Bachelor's degree application and after enrolment in the Master's in RE&IS in myStudies. After the application for the degree has been submitted, credits can only be counted if they have not already been used to obtain the Bachelor's degree ("no category").

Students with a Bachelor's degree in a qualifying discipline from the ETH Zurich, or who are enrolled on such a course, should apply by the deadline to the Admission’s Office in order to be accepted on the Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems Master’s programme.

Admission is always subject to the condition that the following teaching units amounting to 15 credits have been completed and passed. In addition, students are expected to have had a very good study performance record in their Bachelor’s course.

If possible, these subjects may be completed during the Bachelor's degree. They are offered by the Bachelor's degree programme in Geospatial Engineering. Transport Basics is read in the spring semester, the other three subjects in the autumn semester.

If the admission conditions can only be met after the commencement of the Master’s programme, the dates and deadlines stipulated in the Downloadappendix to the programme regulations (PDF, 242 KB) or in the directive on admission to Master’s degree programmes (Section 7) shall apply.
