ETH Zurich offers various scholarships.
Outstanding students of ETH Zurich and other higher education institutions (national and international) who want to complete their Master’s degree studies at ETH Zurich can apply for the scholarship for Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programmes (ESOP).
Very good performance in the Bachelor's degree studies is a prerequisite for this. The candidates must be in the top ten percent in their course.
In addition to scholarships, bursaries may also be granted to students if their own resources are insufficient. Evidence of appropriate academic progress must be furnished.
Find more information about both types of scholarship on the pages of the scholarships service of ETH Zurich.
An internship is not obligatory for the Master’s degree programme in RE&IS. Nevertheless, students are recommended to familiarise themselves with the tasks and problems in a practical situation. Internships offer an opportunity to apply learned knowledge and to acquire important skills. The resulting network of contacts can be helpful after graduation in finding a job. No credits can be counted towards studies.
