Student Association

Students are organised in different associations. The GESO student association (Geospatial and Environmental Engineering Student Organization) is available to Environmental Engineering and Geomatic Engineering and Planning students. It organises different parties, excursions, sporting events (ski weekend...) and supports students in other aspects relating to group examinations or involvement with departmental and ETH committees.

The different student associations are members of the VSETH (Association of students at ETH Zurich), the student lobby group at the ETHZ.

All registered Environmental Engineering students become members of the GESO and VSETH automatically. An additional voluntary contribution is generally paid by most students together with their semester tuition fees.
