D-BAUG IT Services
The IT services provided by the department make a significant contribution to the efficient operation of research, teaching, and administration. They ensure the reliable use of IT infrastructures, applications, and services and support daily work processes.
The procurement, operation, and support of IT systems are organized in different ways.
Most units are now increasingly supported by a central IT support group (ISG). In some units, responsibility remains directly within the respective unit. This form of organization enables needs-based support that takes into account the different requirements.

BAUWELT – Computer rooms for students
BAUWELT is the central computing infrastructure available to students in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering to meet the high IT needs of their studies.
IT Service Center - Informatikdienste (ID)
The IT Service Center for ETH Zurich provides basic IT services such as network, mail server, storage systems (NAS), telephony, etc.
Systems for administration (e.g. ETHis), the websites of all ETH units, and applications for teaching are also provided by the ID for the entire ETH.
