Knowledge and Technology Transfer

One of ETH Zurich's main objectives is to put the knowledge acquired at the university into practice, thereby enhancing the innovative capacity of the Swiss economy. Knowledge and technology transfer (KTT) often occurs through the establishment of spin-offs that open up markets with new approaches and research findings. These spin-offs are small and agile and are a very effective vehicle for KTT. Research collaborations with established companies are another option.
