Female Engineers in Focus
Despite innumerable obstacles posed by Covid-19 measures, the Gender and Diversity Commission of D-BAUG invited five exciting female engineers for an online event, scheduled for 4 March, the World Engineering Day.
Prof. Dr. Eleni Chatzi and Doctoral Student Firehiwot Kedir will welcome the following guests in a Zoom After-Work Talk on 4 March 2021, 5pm:

- Dr. Dimitra Ioannidou, ecoinvent, Zurich; Institute of Construction & Infrastructure Management (IBI), ETH Zurich
- Dr. Franziska Schwarz, Federal Office of the Environment (FOEN / BAFU), Bern; Member of the Advisory Board of ETH Zurich
- Dr. Isabella Schalko, Laboratory of Hydraulics, Hydrology and Glaciology (VAW), ETH Zurich; Nepf Environmental Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, MIT
- Prof. Dr. Olga Fink, Institute of Construction & Infrastructure Management (IBI), ETH Zurich
Each woman will share her experiences as a student and engineer in a predominantly male environment, focusing on 3 decisive moments that directly influenced her career path.
