Federal Councilor Parmelin visits the GEOSummit Congress 2018
Just before his official greeting message for the opening of the GEOSummit in 2018, on June 6, 2018, the Federal Councilor Guy Parmelin not only visited the exhibition with over 50 exhibitors at the congress, but also the individual installations of the Future Lab.
The Chair of Geoinformation Engineering (Prof. Martin Raubal, IKG) presented the project LAMETTA (Location-Aware Mobile Eye Tracking for Tourist Assistance), which uses vision-based assistance systems to aid tourists in the visual exploration of a panorama.

The Federal Councilor Parmelin was very interested in the innovative system. Unfortunately, the time was not enough for a personal test to look at the landscape around the Lake Lucerne, but the direct application was impressive enough.
