We are proud to announce that Dr. Amir Hosein Salmanpour, member of the Structural Masonry Group of the Institute of Structural Engineering (IBK), has been granted the “Early Postdoc.Mobility” grant from Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF).

The winners of the student competition solved a fictional criminal case using the optical 3D scanner ATOS from GOM. They have the chance to present their results at the GOM 3D Metrology Conference 2017.

Marble architecture power – a construction material with a history

Since antiquity, marble has stood for power and elevated status. R. G. Drysdale Award: The best paper on masonry research or education

We are proud to announce that the paper entitled «Hybrid Simulation with Dynamic Substructuring of Masonry Structures: A Numerical Study» by Giuseppe Abbiati, Gaetano Miraglia, Nebojsa Mojsilović and Bozidar Stojadinović received the «R. G. Drysdale Award: The best paper on masonry research or education» at the 13th Canadian Masonry Symposium (Halifax, June 4-7, 2017, Canada).
