Symposium of Foreign Experts in Peking
Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Folker H. Wittmann, Emeritus of ETH Zurich, has been invited by the Chinese government along with 50 other international experts to attend to a symposium in Peking.
Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Folker H. Wittmann, Emeritus of ETH Zurich, has been invited by the Chinese government along with 50 other international experts to attend to a symposium in Peking on the 5th of February 2016. The goal of the symposium was to elaborate recommendations to help Chinese universities to increase their efficiency and improve the position within the international cooperation. Prof. Folker Wittmann presented four recommendations relating the study of civil engineering focused on how to especially improve the topic “more sustainable construction”.
The final discussion has been led by prime minister Li Kejiang. All recommendations will now be reviewed and checked relating the enforceability together with the international experts.
